OBAMA TELL US HE SAYS WHAT HE MEANS AND MEANS WHAT HE SAYS

President Obama told us on the campaign trail this past week that he says what he means and means what he says.If that is truly the case then all of the middle class that he cares so much about is in deep trouble. He has told us for the last four years that the middle class has been left behind by the Republican party. The rich[if you can call making $200,000 a year rich], are given trillions in tax cuts while the middle class are paying more.In reality, the wealthy are the job creators. If we continue to put burdensome regulations on the banks and small businesses, the extra cost will be passed down to the consumer. Now who does that hurt the most?Yes, the middle and lower class.

Obama told us in an interview in 2008 that under his Cap and Trade program that electricity rates would NECESSARILY skyrocket. The key word is necessarily. He said that a coal plant could be built, but because of the regulations imposed on coal plants to retrofit them to the new regulations that they would go bankrupt.Remember.he says what he means and means what he says.We know this because he has said so this past week and has said it many times as his VP Joe Biden has also said. Now why would a Presidential candidate want to increase the amount we would pay for energy. It's called control.

We have already seen many coal plants and coal mines shut down, while China is building a 500 megawatt plant every month. The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported earlier this year that coal plants are producing about 8% less in electricity than last year alone.

Once again, the question is, who do you think the higher rates would affect the most in terms of ability to pay and keep the lifestyle they are living now or prevent them from living a better life in terms of finances? The answer is not blowing in the wind.It is of course the middle and lower class.Just remember this, once these regulations and rules are established and coal plants are no more,it will be almost impossible to turn it around. The new norm for electric rates will be established ,just like the new norm for gas prices has seemed to take effect the last two years.

OBAMA SURROGATES STILL BLAMING BUSH ON MORNING OF ELECTION

We have heard for the last four years the reason things aren't better is because of the mess that this administration inherited from George W.Bush.Maybe it's because they just like hearing the word Bush. This morning,on Fox and Friends,Robert Gibbs told us again that President Obama inherited this bad economy.Should we still be hearing that from the same people ? It sure is getting old. Thus, we should put Obama back in office for another four years of the same policies that aren't working.

If  a newly hired football coach took over a bad program to turn the program around,he usually is given a few years to do so.But,if results were minimal or staying the same, the answer is not to blame the conditions when he was hired.Every coach knows he was hired to turn the program around and not to blame others when questioned about the lack of progress. If he continues to do so,not only would he lose his athletic director's support, but also fan support.Instead of getting better, the program would get worse.

Let's just stipulate to Mr.Gibbs that he inherited a mess.Even if the economy has improved a bit,we don't want to keep hearing the excuses.A leader takes whatever situation he is given him and puts his head down to make things better. That takes the right kind of policies and tough decisions.Blaming Bush does nothing to improve anything. It also hurts any effort to turn the economy around if the President continually plays class warfare,I.e. the 1%.

It has been refreshing to hear from Mitt Romney talk about American Exceptalism
instead of apologizing to other countries because we have been arrogant, dismissive, and even derisive. The time to talk about how bad things might have been is not after a person takes over, whether it's President, coach, manager, or CEO.That is time for action.

Speaking of taking action, everyone needs to vote.If more of the same is what you want, vote Obama. If you want someone who knows and understands how to turn a business around, vote for Mitt Romney.

OBAMA SAID TO CALL FOR MORE OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION IN STATE OF UNION SPEECH TONIGHT

We must be in the twilight zone. After Obama and his State Department said no go on the Keystone Pipeline,he is now apparently going to tell the oil and gas companies to ramp up oil and gas production.WHAT!! Is that a misprint?Did the Whitehouse leak something that isn't true?Last week the President said he wouldn't approve of the construction of the Keystone Pipeline, all the while blaming it on the Congressional Republicans. This is nothing but a political move, a bone for the environmental extremists. He has gone on TV many times and told the Congressional Republicans not to play politics with whatever policy he is pushing at the time. Then,lo and behold,he clearly is making a political decision not to go ahead with the pipeline.

Obama told us that the deadline that Congress set in February of  this year, was not enough time to study the effect of the pipeline on the environment. This, this after the State Department has completed two environmental studies that has taken three years. They also were ready to sign off on the building of the pipeline. But the politics came into play, as usual with this administration. They even stated that it would take at least another year to come to a decision.Well, well, well, what happens this November? That's correct, a presidential election.Shut your mouth! Politics had nothing to do with his decision,so says Jay Carney.Obama's press secretary. This pipeline would create thousands of good paying jobs, not to mention what it would do for the economies for the many cities and states. This project is over 1600 miles long.We would also be getting more than 800,000 barrels of oil a day form our North American partner. That is 33,600,000 gallons of oil per day.Just by announcing the building of the pipeline would lower oil prices and in return fuel prices. We are now a net importer of fuel.A lot of people who don't care one way or another, will change their minds when the price of gasoline goes to $4 or $5 dollars a gallon this summer.Build the pipeline now,Mr.President.As you have often told us,WE CAN'T WAIT!!!

DEMS NOW SAYING FAILURE TO PASS PAYROLL TAX CUT WILL BE A TAX INCREASE, YET THE BUSH TAX RATE CUTS WOULD NOT BE AN INCREASE

The failure of the Congress to pass an extension of the payroll tax holiday is being touted by the Democrats as being a big tax increase for 160 million workers.Isn't that special? For the whole year of 2010, the Dems ,along with President Obama, told us that not extending the Bush tax cuts would not be an increase in taxes, but just merely going back to the rates before the Bush tax cuts took effect. But every other word coming out of their mouths is a tax increase would be the result of the failure to extend this tax credit. In reality, every time a tax credit is discontinued or a marginal rate decrease expires, it is a tax increase. In these hard economic times, every little bit of extra money that the worker can take home can make a difference. But in comparison to the Bush tax cuts, this is a small amount.Yet, we still hear from the Dems that this would be a big tax increase, but discontinuing the huge tax cuts the working American enjoyed  under Bush, would not be a tax increase, but just going back to the previous rates.

The Dems wanted to get rid of the Bush tax cuts, which were a very big decrease on most Americans, yet they want to continue the payroll tax credit, even though this is the only way Social Security is funded. This, all during the time we are being told that Social Security is in trouble. They tell us that the money for Social Security recipients is in a trust fund. The only thing in the trust fund is I.O.U.'s. That is right,no money, only pieces of paper.Oh, by the way ,we as a country are broke. We don't have the money to pay off the I.O.U.'s, unless we borrow more or print more money. We are already paying huge amounts of interest on the money we have borrowed. And as long as the Fed keeps printing more money, our dollar becomes worth less or maybe that should be worthless. If they keep this up, we are more likely than not , going to see hyperinflation. If you are not familiar with this term and what it means, then think Weimar Republic.

President Obama and the House minority leader,Nancy  Pelosi, have said for many weeks that the payroll tax credit should be extended for at least a year. The House passed a bill that did just that ,while also extending unemployment for another year, and fixing the doctor medicare payments for two years.Last Saturday the Senate passed a bill, but only extending the tax credit for two months. Then they went home. The house rightly rejected this, saying two months would only continue to create uncertainty among businesses and the employees. The Senate should have never gone home until this bill was passed ,one way or another. But you see, they had to get home for their vacations. We have heard the media and the Dems tell us that the House should pass the Senate bill and move on.That is not the way it works. If they can't agree, then they go to conference and work out the differences.Tell us why the Senate didn't pass the House bill. After all , they gave the Dems and Obama everything they wanted in the bill.

We are told that the bill should not have had the approval of the Keystone Pipeline in it, that the Republicans loaded up the bill with other provisions. Here's a thought.Pass the go ahead on the Keystone Pipeline, which would probably have an immediate impact on the price of oil and gasoline, not to mention it would help us get off foreign oil.I promise that if gasoline decreased by thirty, forty, or fifty cents, the worker would save a heck of a lot more than twenty dollars a week.

SENATOR HARRY REID ON SENATE FLOOR:NO MILLIONIARE JOB CREATORS

Senator Harry Reid, (Nevada), once again gave us another gem of information on the Senate floor yesterday.Reid stated that millionaires don't create a single job, that they are like unicorns, they don't exist.WOW!!I don't know if the Senator is ignorant or he is just plain stupid. When we have the Majority Leader of the Senate go to the floor and spout something as crazy as that was,we have to wonder what Nevada voters are thinking when they elect him to office term after term.It is no wonder that this country is in decline. With politicians like Reid,we don't need any enemies to try to destroy us, they will get the job done themselves.

Maybe Senator Reid has never heard of people like Rupert Murdoch,Arthur Blank and Bernard Marcus, Boone Pickens, Steve Jobs,Bill Gates,Fred Smith, and thousands of others. Why,even U.S. Congressmen and Senators create jobs, albeit with taxpayer money.

The question is whether Senator Reid is ignorant of the facts, deliberately lying,or if he needs to go to a nursing home.No matter which one you choose,we need for these people to go home for good. The sad reality is that some,if not many, will really believe this nonsense.

I knew that we were in bad shape as a country, but I never dreamed we would be led by such idiots. That may be harsh, but there is no nice way to frame this. One thing is for sure, as long as he is in D.C.,we can count on may more of these revelations.

SURPISE,SURPRISE CONGRESS PADS POCKETS ON LEGAL INSIDER TRADING!!

What a surprise to learn that Congress has lined their pockets with stock transactions that was completely legal to do. For many years, many Congressman and Senators have traded stocks on information that they have received from inside information during pending legislation or knowledge of companies which might fail. The Obama health care bill is just one prime example .During this time in 2009,the legislators were meeting in private behind closed doors, even though Obama said during his campaign that everything ,including drafting legislation would be held in public,to be televised on C-Span.During this time ,many parts of the bill being discussed allowed the Congressmen to trade on information that would affect many of the players in the health care bill.Such as,insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and health care companies.Even the ones who voted against this bill or parts of it made hundreds of thousands of dollars on information that nobody else knew. But wait,we are to told this is legal because they exempted themselves long ago.

We are constantly told by these politicians that they have sacrificed greatly by being a public servant.Maybe some of them could make more money in the private market, but many become the hated wealthy during their time in Congress. Not only that, but they make it off the taxpayers back, such as donations and lobbyists contributed to their campaigns. We can't get one e-mail or piece of mail without them asking for a donation. They are constantly begging for money. This comes on top of their salaries and benefits, which according to Peter Schweizer's book, Throw Them All Out,the rank and file Congress make an average of $285,000 a year, with committee heads making more. They also get around $1.3 million for staff and other outrageous expenses. If it is one thing that they should quit spouting to us ,it is that they are public servants. The truth is they suck off the taxpayers while getting special treatment that none of us get in the private sector. The fact is the private sector shouldn't get special treatment, nor should Congress. So stop with the public servant crap.

There are so many perks and favors the Congress enjoys,it would take us many days of research to dispose all of them.So all of the occupy wall streeters (OWS) should take their protests to Washington D.C.They say they are protesting big business because they control the Government.Maybe that is true to an extent, but the people who run our Government are the ones who accept the money and graft from these companies. So call your Senator and Congressman and let them know how you feel about it.If these politicians wouldn't submit to the bribes, the crony capitalism would stop. The buck stops with your legislators. They are the problem, not the people or businesses trying to influence legislation. If the Congress would get out of stifling regulation and leave the private sector alone, then capitalism would take care of itself. This is why this country is great or at least once was.

If the average worker wants to make a difference in the way Washington works, then they have to reach and effect the right people, and that is their legislators and the current administration.Pick up a copy of Peter Schweizer's book.

OBAMA SAYS "WE CAN'T WAIT" ON JOBS BILL

President Obama has announced his WE CAN'T WAIT PROGRAM as a way to implement his policies on how to get the economy growing again. What we have here is just more of the same that got us in this trouble to begin with. The Community Reinvestment Act , passed during jimmy Carter's administration, started us down the road of creating this housing bubble, which eventually helped cause the financial meltdown we experienced in 2009.Then the Clinton administration made some changes to the legislation which put more pressure on the banks to lend money to low income communities.

This Act also relaxed lending requirements of the banks and the customers by not having to prove their financial worth and taking their word on how much income they had coming in. People like Congressman Barney Frank, who was chairman of the House Financial Services, repeatedly supported Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,who made thousands of these sub-prime loans. On more than one occasion, Mr.Frank defended these two Government Sponsored Entities, dressing down regulators testifying before his committee ,that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac needed to be reeled in.Many other Democrats on the committee also chimed in saying that there was nothing wrong with the agencies and that the regulators only wanted to punish the poor.

So now Obama is bring back the bailout of the housing market, which will only lead to more taxpayer money being wasted. The only way that the housing sector will recover is to let the natural process of foreclosures take place.Yes, it will be painful, but the way we are addressing it now is only going to create a bigger bubble.

President Obama told us when he was first elected, that creating and saving jobs, was his main focus.Instead, he worked relentlessly on the Health Care Bill. Then when that passed, and millions of workers still unemployed, while adding more every week, he announced on national TV, that he was laser focused on creating jobs.First of all, the Government can't create jobs, but only the environment, such as relaxing regulations, and permanent tax rate cuts, not one time tax credits.

One thing that is certain, Obama is laser focused on saving one job and that is his.His campaign slogan while running for President in 2008 was Hope And Change The main change we need right now is the Office of President of The U.S.It can't come soon enough.
