It has been over 800 days since the Senate has submitted a budget and yet they continue to blast the Republicans for not voting to raise the debt ceiling.The plain reality is that this is mandated by law and they are not doing the job for which they are paid for.There is only one reason that they have failed to submit a budget--pure politics.That is they don't want to have to vote on reducing the budget because of their base wouldn't like it at all.
They play games with the budget anyway.Every year the line items are increased a certain amount automatically.Then when the Republicans offer an amendment to reduce the increase ,say from 10% to 5%,they scream that the Republicans are cutting the budget when in reality they just want to decrease the amount of increase.The Dems get all of the free time to demagogue the issue from the complying main stream media.
So anytime you hear this, look it up and tell your liberal friends the truth.The Democratic Senate is playing games with the budget and if we continue to let them do this, this country will go under because of all the debt.We are reaching a point of no return.Call your congressman and senators and ask them why they play this game.
