The one and only Rick Sanchez of CNN actually posed the question to State Rep.Rick Murphy,"What is your beef with illegal immigration?" Would you please repeat that Mr. Sanchez,I think the audio is malfunctioning? I know an intelligent top notch reporter,uh, commentator ,uh, another lackey for the left wing for this country, surely didn't ask an Arizona state Rep. what he has against illegal immigration?
We know that CNN's intelligence is way above the heads of us nut job conservatives, but maybe if you talk a little slower we can keep up.You actually asked a member of the Arizona Congress ,who is sworn to uphold the Arizona State Constitution and its laws, just what do have against illegals? You see,Mr. Sanchez, in case you didn't get the memo,we,the United States, are a country of laws.So for you to ask a sworn official of the State this, you must have known that the only answer was that they are breaking the law, nothing personal. But that is what people like you want to imply, that it is not only personal ,but racial. For you and others like you to accuse us of racism every time that conservatives disagree with your views is getting to be very old and tiresome.
We understand the burdens that illegal immigrants are putting upon our country. That is why we have laws for legal immigration. We also understand that most of them come here for a better life.We know this because of what we have here. How would you like for anyone to just walk on your property or house anytime they wanted too?
The people on the border states live in fear and uncertainty because the Federal Government doesn't secure our borders. They endanger the lives not only of the citizens, but also the many border agents and other law enforcement personnel. That is not to say that the bigger part of them are dangerous, but the so called Coyotes that bring them over here are, along with the drug smugglers. So when they fire their AK47's and other weapons at innocent people on their own land,I ask you Mr.Sanchez, why would you think that anyone would have anything against illegal immigrants?
There are some other reasons why most of us,according to almost every poll, want the border secured. If you haven't heard,we are embroiled in a deep recession, almost ten percent unemployment, with real unemployment close to seventeen percent, trillions of dollars worth of debt and many calling to spend even more money that we don't have.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies, there were 6.6 million illegals without health insurance in 2007 who had incomes below 400 percent of the poverty level, which is the income ceiling for the proposed premium credits in the Health Care Bill. This is estimated to cast the taxpayer 30.5 billion every year.We have emergency rooms and hospitals shutting their doors now.According to FAIR, (Federation for Immigration Reform) study, illegals cost 113 billion a year to the U.S.
So I ask you Mr.Sanchez, what do you think that hard working, everyday legal citizens have against illegal immigration, but fully support legal immigration. While we are trying to get this problem under control, why don't you open your property and household to anyone that wants to come here illegally? When all of you people in your ivory towers take actions instead of only words, maybe we can work something out.

Federal Judge Issues an Injunction Against Arizona Immigration Law SB1070
U.S. Judge Susan Bolton issued an injunction on Arizona's SB 1070,the immigration law which was signed into law on April 23,2010.It was to go into effect on July 29Th, 2010.This was in response to the U.S. Justice Department's suit that was filed on July 6Th,2010.
The injunction suspended the law's requirement that law enforcement agencies to check a person's status as to whether or not he or she are here illegally after they have been stopped for some other violation. She also put a hold on the part that required legal immigrants to carry their papers to prove that they are here legally. She also suspended the part that made it illegal to have a job if they weren't here legally.
The Feds have the right to stop anyone to check their status without having to stop them for some other violation. So Arizona's SB 1070 is actually less stringent on this matter.
It seems that the Federal Government doesn't want to enforce the law that is already on the books. The Obama administration likes to so say that the border is safer than it ever has been. That is not saying much, because for the last 25 years it has been wide open. Now what could be a reason for letting illegals to continue to come across the border anyway that they can.? Maybe, just maybe, more votes. Surely not!
In the case of Plyler v. Doe,the court ruled that we cannot conclude that the
States are without power to deter the influx of persons entering the United States against federal law, and whose numbers might have a discernible impact on traditional state concerns.
In a footnote form the Judge's ruling, it states that the police can't be forced to ask anyone about their being here legal or not. But, it says that they may do so on their own.In Lynch v. Cannatella (1987), the Fifth Circuit held that "No statute precludes other federal state, or local law enforcement agencies from taking other action to enforce this nation's immigration laws."
So here we are,at the place where the Federal either won't, or more disturbing, can't enforce our immigration laws. Thus, Arizona passed a law that would help control the illegal population and crime, and now we have an activist Judge slapping an injunction on Sb 1070.
The illegals are overwhelming our hospitals ,emergency rooms, and schools. Many hospital and emergency rooms have shut the doors due to the added financial constraints imposed on them partly due to the problem of taking care of the illegals.
It is past time for the Feds to step up the enforcement of our immigration laws. That would include securing the border first. We hear from many that we need a comprehensive plan to solve the problem.Show us that you can first secure the border and then we can talk about other reforms, such as stopping illegal hiring.
The voters of the country stopped the Congress from passing comprehensive reform( read Amnesty) back in 2007 and 2008.They will have to do it again.Call your Congressman and Senators and let them know how you feel.Everyday, if you have to.

Some Dems in Favor of Extending Bush Tax Cuts Set To Expire at End of 2010
The debate between the Democrats and Republicans whether or not to extend the Bush Tax Cuts, is starting to heat up as the November midterm elections are less than 100 days away. They are set to expire December 31st,2010.
The Dems have always made the case that the tax cuts mainly benefited the wealthy. In fact, the Bush Tax Cuts that were signed into law in 2001,2002, and 2003, granted all U.S. citizens some form of tax relief. Consequently,if they are not extended,it will affect all of us as taxpayers. All of the marginal rates will be
increased,as well as capital gains and dividends.
The majority leader of the Senate,Harry Reid, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, tell us that the Bush Tax Cuts are the main reason that we are running such huge deficits. The fact is,when tax cuts have been implemented across the board in the past, revenue collected actually increased. In turn, this will also give businesses and employers that much more operating money in which they can use to expand their business and hire new employees. This would certainly be a great improvement in the economic outlook.
We hear from some Democrats, including the Obama administration, that they are considering letting only the cuts for the wealthy to expire. They are defined as a single person making $200,000 or more and a married couple making $250,000 or more.
Last week Democratic Senator Kent Conrad,N.D.,citing the deep recession that we are in,plus high unemployment, has suggested that he and others are considering to extending all of the Bush Tax Cuts. He stated that this is needed to avoid a double-dip recession.
The goal of any business, large or small, is to make a profit.Employees are hired to help reach this goal. When a business cuts its resale prices,it hopes to make more revenue by increasing sales volume and turning over its inventory. If they are successful,it will create more revenue all the way up and down the supply chain. Suppliers will need to furnish more products and more raw materials will be used to make the products. Rising water lifts all boats. This is economics 101.
Call your Congressman and Senators and tell them that we know how to spend the money that we make more so than them. If they want to decrease the deficit, then they should stop all of the obscene wasteful spending.Show us that you can do this first, then we will talk about tax increases.

time to move on
There comes a time in every person's life that he or she must take responsibility for their actions and whatever their role is in the position they hold. For many of us,this takes longer than others.Yes,for some it may never happen.
Leadership has many traits, such as character, integrity, skill, toughness, humility, foresight and many others.Leadership skills are honed during trying times, while others are a natural occurrence due to the make-up of the person holding that position. He must realize the power of the position he holds, not to abuse that power, but use it to help bring about the best possible solution for the situation that confronts him.
That brings us to the current administration. On January 20th,2009,Barrack Obama was sworn into office as the 44th President of the United States. The nation was facing many problems, some severe. This is where leadership must take over.Instead,President Obama and his administration blamed others(George W Bush) everyday,if not numerous times a day, for the obstacles we face as a nation. He has continued to do so for nineteen months. It is long past time to stop saying that he inherited the state we are in and accept the responsibilty to get us on the right track to recovery. We can debate on the means to get there, but blaming the previous administration does nothing to solve the problems.
When the board of a corporation hires a CEO to turn a company around,it does not do so expecting the CEO to continually blame the last CEO as an excuse why that corporation is still struggling nineteen moths later. They expect that CEO to tackle the problems with results. Results come from implementing policies, not fixing blame on someone else. When President Truman said the buck stops here,he meant that he wouldn't pass it off on someone else.
So here we are, nineteen months later, still facing the same problems that have been exacerbated due to the policies that have been implemented by this President and the Congress.
Mr.President, stop acting like a spoiled 10 year old child, and quit blaming others and do your job.

the howler is born
Just what is a howler? To howl is to utter or emit a long, mournful, plaintive sound. It is to cry or wail loudly,as in pain, sorrow,or anger,It can also mean to laugh heartily. With this administration, there have been may opportunities to wail in pain and anger.
The Political Howler will express all of these in the days and months to come.If you keep up with the political world at all these days, you most certainly have experienced the need and desire to engage in some form of howling at the politicians, not to mention the mainstream media.
We will keep you abreast of all the political ramifications that the Obama administration ,the Senate, and the House of Representatives have thrust upon us by their actions and inaction. We certainly have been deluged with these since the inauguration of President Obama and his cronies. It seems to be the case that whatever the Democrats do,they should have done just the opposite or nothing at all.
An example of an action that should have been an inaction was the passing and the implementation of the Health Care and Education Act of 2010.A 2500 page monstrosity, while most of Congress,if not all, didn't even read (Speaker Pelosi stated that we had to pass the bill to know what was in it),will destroy the best health care system in the world.
An inaction that should become an action,is the protection of our southern border.By not doing so, the Federal Government has refused to enforce the laws of the land. They give many excuses, none of witch satisfies the electorate.
Let your Congressman and Senators hear form you.Continue to howl.
